ABOUT
OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS US!
As Brat summer mellows into autumn, you may be finding yourself in a state of disarray. The Great Lesbian Renaissance announced itself quicker than you can say ‘Femininomenon’, and passed in a haze of curly red hair and eating girls for lunch.
All that to say… we had our fun. But now, our community needs us!
The Common Press is an outstanding space. So much more than a bookshop, it is an essential hub of knowledge, support, community and resources for the queer community in London. Led by BIPOC, trans, non-binary folks and queer women, The Common Press amplifies the voices of underrepresented writers and artists. London has lost so many vital queer spaces, we cannot lose another.
100% of profits will go to The Common Press fundraising campaign.
Join us for a night of music, dancing and solidarity in aid of this beautiful space. With music by Paige Bea and special guests, we really hope to see you there.
Please note that this is a night of community, inclusion and celebration. Any homophobic, transphobic, racist, ableist or otherwise prejudiced behaviour will result in immediate removal from the venue.
