Live Drafts
Live Drafts is back, in our brand new building and it’s evolving.
Live Drafts is one of the ways that we develop new work at The Yard. Artists are invited to present their ‘draft’ to a live audience to help them understand how their work might evolve.
We’ve presented work from artists like Pecs Drag Kings, Marikiscrycrycry, Dipo Baruwa-Etti and In Bed With My Brother. Many of their ideas have become fully fledged productions at The Yard and across the UK.

COMMISSIONS
WE COMMISSION NEW THEATRE AND NIGHTLIFE BY WRITERS, PERFORMERS, AND COLLECTIVES - SOME OF THEM WORK WITH OUR YOUNG PEOPLE. ALL OUR COMMISSIONS START WITH US GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER.
If you’re interested, email us with some information about you and an invite to your show or event at hello@theyardtheatre.co.uk. Try to give us at least three weeks’ notice so that we can book your show in good time. We don't accept unsolicited scripts.
