The Yard Theatre is dedicated to being open and honest about our terms, conditions and policies.
See below for our policies…
If you have pre-booked your ticket online, then your ticket will be waiting for you at the box office. Tickets cannot be posted out or printed at home. When you are collecting your ticket, all you need is the email confirmation for proof of purchase.
Concessions are available for those over the age of 65, students and unwaged. If you have purchased a ticket at the concessionary rate, you may be asked for proof of entitlement. Access tickets are priced at £12 plus a companion ticket at the same rate.
All our ticket price types and discounts are subject to availability and can be changed or withdrawn at any point. The Yard can introduce offers and price changes at any time. Any price types or discounts bought after you have purchased your ticket will not apply. When we accept your order, that’s the price you pay for your ticket. Any promotion codes or offers can be used online only and cannot be redeemed at the box office.
What if I need a refund?
Tickets are not refundable unless the performance is cancelled or rescheduled.
What if I can’t make the performance I booked for?
In exceptional circumstances, we can exchange your ticket to an alternative performance of the same event, as long as you contact us at least three hours before the performance is due to start and subject to availability.
Tickets are sold subject to the Data Protection Act 1998.
These Terms and Conditions do not and shall not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Events may be age restricted so you do need to check, before purchasing, if the event will be suitable.
We try our best to let latecomers in at an agreed latecomers point, but this is at the discretion of artists.
The Yard reserves the right not to let ticket holders in or take necessary action to ensure that ticket holders leave the venue if we feel that health and safety, licensing or other patrons’ comfort or security may be affected.
If you leave the auditorium mid-performance, we can’t guarantee you’ll be allowed back in.
We all know how embarrassing it is when your mobile phone goes off during the middle of a quiet scene so please switch them off when you come in.
Drinks are welcome in the auditorium but please refrain from taking in hot food or noisy snacks!
Filming and photography whilst inside the auditorium is prohibited, unless it has been agreed with a member of staff.
